  • No, sorry I don’t work with cover ups.

  • Your design will be sent out via text message on the Monday/Tuesday prior to your appointment. This is to protect my work from being taken elsewhere. In this time you are welcome to make any changes to your designs. Everything can be finalised at your appointment including size and placement.

  • Yes a deposit of $100 is required in order to lock in your appointment. This is non'-refundable. A lot of time goes into organising your appointment, researching for your design and setting up equipment for your tattoo. It’s very frustrating when someone doesn’t show up.

  • This all depends on the placement, size and detail of the tattoo. Majority of appointments are booked in 1.5hr increments.

  • I always suggest eating a proper meal prior to your appointment, drinking lots of water and getting a good nights sleep. Let me know if you’re feeling nervous or if you are prone to fainting. As I want to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Stick and poke is very mild in pain, I have had clients fall asleep on the table before, as it can almost feel therapeutic.

  • Yes! Sometimes a little portion of the design can fade/fall out. As we are tattooing live cells, which can almost heal the ink out of the skin. It can happen for a number of different reasons.

If this does happen let me know and I can re touch it for free.

Finger tattoos are a little different and will almost certainly fall out due to the nature of the skin. So all finger re touches include a fee of $50.

  • I don’t work with full colour pieces but am happy to use bits of colour with in your design

Keeping in mind that colour ink wasn’t designed for line work. I also never use white ink!

Stick & Poke is an ancient hand laboured style of body art. Completed by repeated poking motions to deposit the ink under the skin. It is a less intrusive method of tattooing, which can be less painful but can be a slower process. All equipment is up to the health and safety standards, the same as any machine made tattoo. The end result is a unique look that can be thick bold tattoos or fine and detailed. Completely hand rendered with care.

Tattooing is actually an ancient feminine art form, only women of royal blood were allowed to practice the art of tattooing. I find this an empowering fact as a female artist in the modern day.

Getting a tattoo especially for the first time, can be quite a vulnerable experience, I like to make it as comfortable as possible and help nurture my clients and their creative ideas.

A little about the process…
